Return Policy

We would like you to shop with confidence at the Hip to Be Green online store, and be 100% satisfied with your purchases. Therefore, you may return an item, within 10 days of receiving it for a store credit, or exchange*. Shipping and handling charges are non- refundable. All items returned must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition with all tags attached.

*Unfortunately, we cannot return the following items:

• sale items
• cosmetics
• skincare products
• earrings

These items will be marked as Final Sale in the listings.

How to Return/Exchange

• Pack and seal the item in the original package, including the receipt and reason for the exchange.
• Send the package to the address below. We recommend insured, traceable shipping. We cannot be responsible for missing or lost returning items in the mail.

Store Credit or Exchange

A store credit or exchange will be issued as soon as we receive and process your return.

Store Credit: We can issue an online gift certificate for the full purchase price that can be used for further purchases at the Hip To Be Green online store.

Exchange:

• If there is no difference in price between the item you are returning and the item you are purchasing (even exchange) we will ship the new item within 24 hours. No further transaction is necessary.
• If the exchange generates a credit for you we will give you a store credit for the amount.
• If the exchange generates a balance due, we will send an email to arrange your payment, which can be processed through PayPal, or credit card. As soon as the balance is paid we will ship your new item.

Shipping:

Hip To Be Green offers FREE shipping on all Canadian orders over $100 by Canada Post Standard Delivery (less than 5 days to most of Canada). Items are usually shipped next business day and have an average transit time of approximately 3 days to major metropolitan areas, and 4 days to more rural areas. We do not process orders on the weekend, so orders placed on Friday usually ship out on Monday. Please note that while Canada Post Standard is fast and usually ships next business day, the arrival time is not guaranteed. If you need a guaranteed arrival time, you may purchase Overnight Shipping at an additional charge. Please note that all orders over $500 require a signature upon delivery.  When ordering multiple items you will not be charged shipping on items after the first.

If you are a customer living in our home city of Medicine Hat we have free delivery to your door.  If you are a customer living in the rural vicinity of Medicine Hat, arrangements for your delivery can be arranged, just add a message about delivery when you make your payment.
